Jubilee Year 2025
Every 25 years, the Catholic Church celebrates a Jubilee Year.

This 31st Jubilee Year in history is meant to be a special time for spiritual renewal and pilgrimage for the faithful. Pope Francis views it as a source of hope, which is crucial for spiritual revival after the pandemic and for the establishment of peace throughout the  world.

The Holy Year provides the opportunity to receive a Jubilee Indulgence by passing through the Holy Doors in four Roman basilicas or in their dioceses, as a symbolic gesture of penance and conversion.
