Liturgical calendar:
- August 11, Monday: Memorial of St. Clare of Assisi, Virgin. St. Clare was a companion and spiritual daughter of St. Francis of Assisi. Born in 1194 to a noble family, she renounced wealth and worldly glory, embracing “Lady Poverty” for the sake of Christ. In 1212, she founded the monastery at San Damiano in Assisi, establishing the Order of Poor Clares—the Second (female) Franciscan order.
- August 12, Tuesday: Memorial of St. Jane Frances de Chantal, Religious.
- August 14, Thursday: Memorial of St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe, Priest and Martyr. St. Maximilian was born in Poland in 1894 and received a vision from the Blessed Virgin Mary as a child, offering him two crowns: one white for purity and one red for martyrdom. He accepted both. In 1941, at Auschwitz, he voluntarily gave his life in place of another prisoner, witnessing to Christ’s commandment of love.
- August 15, Friday: Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Holy Mass, which is obligatory for all Catholics, will be celebrated at 11:00 AM (in Russian) and at 7:00 PM (in Russian and English). On this day, we will also bless flowers and fruits.
- Sunday Mass in English starts at 9.00 AM during the months of June, July, August and September 2025.
- There is NO weekday Mass during the months of June, July, August and September 2025.
- Mass Intention Envelopes are available at the Entrance of the Chapel and the Church or with Parish Council Members, kindly complete all required details (your intentions, contact information etc.) with your love offerings (min. of UZ 100,000 per intention), seal and return it to Fr Michal or any Parish council members.
