Praying for the Dead
- Prayers at the Cemetery – Sunday, November 1: We will go to the Botkin Street cemetery to pray for our departed. The prayers will begin about 30 minutes after the end of Mass.
- Holy Mass for Our Departed – Friday, November 6: Holy Mass for our deceased loved ones will be celebrated at 19:00 in the friary chapel.
- Plenary Indulgence (November 1–8): A plenary indulgence may be obtained under the usual conditions by those who visit a cemetery and pray for the departed, or who devoutly recite the Lord's Prayer and the Creed in a church or chapel. The usual conditions are sacramental Confession, Holy Communion, prayer for the intentions of the Holy Father, and complete detachment from all sin.
- November – Month of Prayer for the Holy Souls: Throughout November, we pray especially fervently for the departed. Cards are available at the church exit for you to write the names of your deceased loved ones. We will pray for them during the Rosary before Sunday Mass throughout November. Please write the names clearly and in block letters, and return the completed cards to the sacristy.
Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession)
- Sundays: Confessions begin 30 minutes before Holy Mass.
- First Fridays: 17:00 (during Eucharistic Adoration).
Confessions are also available by appointment at any time. Please contact the priest to schedule.
