Fifth Sunday of Lent
Liturgical Calendar
- Wednesday, March 25 — Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. Holy Masses will be celebrated at 12:00 PM in Russian and at 7:00 PM in Russian and English.
- Sunday, March 29 — Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord. The Church begins Holy Week with the commemoration of the Lord's entrance into Jerusalem. On this day, we will gather in front of the church for the solemn procession in memory of these events.
Please note the schedule changes for Holy Week:
- Monday of Holy Week, March 30 — Chrism Mass (blessing of the Sacred Chrism and the Holy Oils) at 7:00 PM. Confessions in English and Russian: 6:00 PM until Mass, and after Mass.
- Holy Thursday, April 2 — Mass of the Lord's Supper at 7:00 PM.
- Good Friday, April 3 — Celebration of the Lord's Passion at 7:00 PM.
- Holy Saturday, April 4 — Easter Vigil at 8:00 PM. Please bring candles.
- Easter Sunday, April 5 — Solemnity of the Resurrection of the Lord — Masses according to the regular Sunday schedule.
Catechesis in all groups will continue as usual, except for Easter Sunday, April 5, and Divine Mercy Sunday, April 12. However, all children are kindly requested to attend Adoration on April 12 from 9:20 AM to 9:50 AM in the main church.
- We continue to pray for the catechumens who will receive the Sacrament of Baptism at the Easter Vigil, and for those who will be received into full communion with the Catholic Church on Palm Sunday.
- You are invited to the last Stations of the Cross this Friday after the 7:00 PM Mass.
- We invite everyone to participate in our Lenten charitable initiatives.
Preparing the Church for Easter
On Saturday, March 28, at 10:00 AM, all are invited to join the parish clean-up day in preparation for the Easter celebrations. A shared meal will follow in the Parish Hall.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available at the following times:
Regular Schedule:- Sundays: 9:30–10:00 AM
- First Fridays: 5:00 PM (during Eucharistic Adoration)
- Saturdays: 4:30 PM during Eucharistic Adoration (upon request)
Confessions are also available by appointment at any time. Please contact the priest to schedule.
Parish Reminders
- Mass Intentions: Mass intention envelopes are available at the entrances of the chapel and church. Please complete all required details with your offering ($10 per intention), seal the envelope, and return it to Fr. Michał or the sacristy.
- Volunteers for Readings: If you are interested in proclaiming the readings on Sundays, please contact Rashmi D'Souza at rashmi.dsouza2007@gmail.com. Readings for upcoming Sundays are assigned in advance to registered members.
