27th Sunday in Ordinary Time

  1. Liturgical Calendar for the Coming Week & Special Celebrations

    • Tuesday, 7 October: Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary.

On this feast day, the Sisters of Mother Teresa will hold Eucharistic Adoration in the lower chapel of our church from 10:00 to 19:00. Everyone is invited to join in prayer.

  2. Spiritual Exercises

The Franciscans will be away for their spiritual exercises from 6 to 18 October. We ask for your prayers for us, that this time may yield abundant spiritual fruit, strengthen us in our vocation, and foster growth in faith and piety.

  3. Parish Picnic – 19 October

    • Our Parish Picnic for the Russian and English communities will take place on Sunday, 19 October.
    • On that day, there will be only one combined Mass in English and Russian at 11:00.
    • The Mass will be celebrated by His Excellency Giovanni d’Aniello, Apostolic Nuncio to Uzbekistan.
    • After the Mass, the church grounds will be closed until the Korean Mass at 16:00.
    • All who wish to participate in the picnic and help with its organization, please contact Andrew Hardisty, who is coordinating the preparation for the English-speaking community.

    IV. Parish Updates & Reminders
    October Devotions:

    • During October, the month of the Holy Rosary, we will pray the Rosary before the 10:00 Mass (starting at 9:40).
    • We also invite 1 or 2 families each week to collectively bring the offertory gifts (fruits, sweets, flowers, etc.). To volunteer, please contact Rey from the Parish Council.

Monthly Birthday/Anniversary Mass: We continue the tradition of offering the Mass on the first Sunday of the month for parishioners celebrating birthdays or anniversaries that month.
    Fundraising for New Sound System:

    • The collection for the purchase and installation of a new, high-quality sound system continues.
    • We sincerely thank everyone who has already responded and offered support.
    • $1,350 has been raised so far.
    • Until the end of October, targeted collections will be held after each Sunday Mass using a special box. If you cannot contribute at that time but wish to help, you may leave a note with the intended donation amount, the planned date of contribution, and your contact details. This will help us plan the budget. Please keep our benefactors in your prayers. For more information, contact the pastor.

    Mass Intentions:

    • Mass intention envelopes are available at the Entrance of the Chapel and the Church, or from Parish Council Members.
    • Kindly complete all required details (your intentions, contact information, etc.) with your love offerings ($10 per intention), seal the envelope, and return it to Fr. Michal or any Parish Council member.
