29th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Liturgical Calendar for the Coming Week
- Tuesday, 21 October — Memorial of the blessed Jakub Strepa, Bishop (one of the heavenly patrons of our Kraków Franciscan Province, whose name the Province bears). The friars of the Kraków Province will pray this day for the canonization of Blessed Jakub Strepa; please join them in prayer.
- Wednesday, 22 October — Solemnity of St. John Paul II. Because St. John Paul II is a heavenly patron of our Church and of the Apostolic Administration in Uzbekistan, his feast will be transferred and celebrated on the following Sunday, 26 October.
- Thursday, 23 October — Memorial of St. John of Capistrano, Priest.
November Remembrance of the Dead
- November soon approaches, the month in which we especially pray for all the faithful departed.
- Sheets for the names of your deceased loved ones will be available on the table at the church entrance. Please write names legibly, in BLOCK LETTERS. Completed sheets should be returned to the sacristy.
Fundraising for a New Sound System
- The collection to purchase and install a new high-quality sound system continues. We warmly thank everyone who has already contributed.
- To date approximately $3,000 has been raised.
- Until the end of October, a special collection box will be available after each Sunday Mass for targeted donations. If you are unable to give at that time but wish to help, please leave a note indicating the intended donation amount, the planned date of payment, and your contact details — this helps us plan the budget and next steps.
- Please keep our benefactors in your prayers. For more information, contact the pastor.
