26October 2025

30th Sunday in Ordinary Time

  1. Liturgical Calendar for the Coming Week

    • Tuesday, 28 October: Feast of Saints Simon and Jude, Apostles.
    • Saturday, 1 November: The Solemnity of All Saints. Holy Mass is obligatory. Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 hrs in Russian and at 18:00 hrs in English and Russian.
    • Sunday, 2 November: The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls' Day). After the 10:00 Mass, we will go to the Botkin Street cemetery to pray for our departed. The prayers will begin 30 minutes after the end of Mass.

A Plenary Indulgence under the usual conditions (state of grace, reception of Confession and Holy Communion, prayer for the Pope's intentions) is available from November 1 to November 8 for those who visit a cemetery and pray for the departed or, in a church or chapel, devoutly recite the Lord's Prayer, the Creed, and any other prayer for the intentions of the Holy Father.

  2. November: Month of prayer for the Holy Souls

    • Throughout November, we pray especially fervently for the departed.
    • Lists for names are available at the entrance to the church. Please write the names of your deceased loved ones clearly and in block letters. Please return the completed lists to the sacristy.
  3. Fundraising for New Sound System

    • The collection for the purchase and installation of a new, high-quality sound system continues. We sincerely thank everyone who has already contributed.
    • Approximately $3,800 has been raised so far.
    • Targeted collections will be held after each Sunday Mass. The final collection will be on November 2.
    • If you cannot contribute at that time but wish to help, you may leave a note in the sacristy with the intended donation amount and your contact details. This helps us with budget planning.
    • Please keep our benefactors in your prayers. For more information, contact the pastor.
  4. Parish Updates & Reminders

    • The Birthday and Anniversary Blessing for the month of November will be celebrated on November 2.
    • Adoration on Saturdays: Every Saturday, Eucharistic Adoration is held from 16:30 until the start of the evening Mass.
    • Mass Intentions: Mass intention envelopes ($10 per intention) are available at the entrances. Please complete them and give them to Fr. Michal or a Parish Council member.
    • Volunteers for Readings: Those interested in reading on Sundays, please contact Rashmi D’Souza to register for November and December. We request all interested Parishioners to register their names with Rashmi as we plan to allocate the readings to the registered members in advance for the month of November and December 2025. This will help in building a system in place.

The Lord be with you!
