The season of Advent is approaching — a time of reverent and joyful expectation as we prepare to commemorate Christ’s First Coming and look with hope toward His Second Coming. The liturgical character of this period is emphasized by the modest decorations in the church and the frequent use of the symbol of light — lighted candles.

In anticipation of St. Nicholas’s visit on Sundays, November 30 and December 7, a collection will be taken after Mass to raise funds for gifts for the children of our parish. We ask for your support for this good cause as we prayerfully await the visit of our guest.
