First Sunday of Lent

  1. Liturgical Calendar

    • Lent has begun — a time of forty-days of preparation for celebrating the Paschal Mystery of the Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to the precepts of the Church, every Catholic is obliged at least once a year — during the Easter season (that is, during Lent and Easter Time) — to receive the Sacraments of Penance and the Eucharist. Please remember in your prayers the catechumens preparing for the Sacraments of Christian Initiation and those preparing to be received into full communion with the Catholic Church.
    • Every Friday of Lent - Holy Mass will be celebrated in English at 19:00 in the Friary chapel (behind the main church) followed by the Stations of the Cross in the main church.
    • Our parish offers two ways to participate in Lenten Charity: you can use the envelopes at the entrance to make a cash donation for those in need and place them in the basket near the door or hand it personally to the Priest, Sacristy or any of the Parish Council members OR you can bring non-perishable food items and place them in the box near the altar. All donations will be given to those in need through our religious sisters.
