Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

  1. Liturgical Calendar

    • Sept 29, Tuesday - Solemn Feast of St. Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, Archangels.

    • Sept 30, Wednesday - Memorial Saint Jerome, Priest.

    • Oct 1, Thursday - Memorial of St Therese of the Child Jesus, Virgin.

    • Oct 2, Friday - Memorial of The Guardian Angels. First Friday of the month, a day of special devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Adoration will begin at 18.00 hrs.

    • Birthdays and Anniversary Blessings on Oct 4, Sunday during the Combined Mass at 11.00 am

    • Sacrament of Reconciliation Schedule: The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available at the following times:

    • Sundays: A half an hour before Sunday Mass

    • First Fridays: 17:00 (during Eucharistic Adoration)

    • Confessions are also available by appointment at any time. Please contact the priest to schedule a time.

  2. Parish Reminders

    • Catechism Classes 2026-27: Admission forms for the 2026-27 Catechism program will be available with Ms Patty James. Completed forms, along with all required documents should be submitted no later than 27 Sept 2026. Tentatively, we aim to start the Catechism classes on October 11, 2026, at 8:50 AM.
    • Invitation to serve - Parish Council and Ministries: The Parish Council invites interested parishioners to join and take up various ministry responsibilities, including Lectors, Collection, Projector, Choir, Catechists and other parish activities. Interested parishioners may contact any Parish Council member or Fr. Michal.
    • On the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, our parish is planning celebrations that will span several days. Beginning this week, an exhibit dedicated to Saint Francis will be on display in the church. We invite you to come and see it.
    • Friday, October 2 (First Friday of the month). We will begin at 18:00 with Eucharistic Adoration, with the opportunity for Confession. At 19:00 we will celebrate Holy Mass, followed by the Transitus service commemorating the day of St. Francis's passing. The evening will conclude with the blessing of the St. Francis Hall and a small reception.
    • Sunday, October 4. We will gather for Holy Mass at 11:00, followed by a picnic on the church grounds.
    • We warmly invite everyone who wishes to help with the preparations. You may take part personally, by helping with the food, cleaning, and so on, or by making a donation toward the costs of the event. Please contact Rudolf, who is coordinating on behalf of the English-speaking group.

    • Sunday, October 4. We will gather for Holy Mass at 11:00 a.m., followed by a picnic on the church grounds.

    • Save the Date – Parish Gathering: We are planning a combined English/Russian-speaking parish gathering and picnic on Sunday, 4 October, on the occasion of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. More details will follow.
    • Mass Intentions: Mass intention envelopes are available at the entrances of the chapel and church. Please complete all required details with your love offerings ($10 per intention), seal the envelope, and return it to Fr. Michal or the Sacristy.
    • Volunteers for Readings: Help us bring the Scriptures to life! We invite members to join our team of Sunday readers. To be included in the advance schedule, please contact Rey Del Prado (@MrReynldeas) or Patty James (@pattyjamesbkk).
